Today, acidity or heartburn is very common in our fast paced, stressful and hectic lifestyle.
Remember, that a well planned diet with a lifestyle modification is crucial to avoid an acidity attack.
But, here are some remedies to instantly curb a heartburn in case you get one.
These are instant remedies for when you suffer from a bout of acidity and avoid that bottle of antacid.
1. Eat a ripe banana for some relief. You could also eat an overripe banana to beat an especially bad bout of acidity.
2. Chewing on five to six tulsi leaves when you suffer from acidity is a great way to beat the discomfort you feel.
3. Have cold milk and without any additives like sugar.
4. Chew on a few saunf seeds or jeera or a pod of cardamom.
5. If you feel an attack coming on chop some mint leaves, add them to a pot of boiling water and drink this water after it cools.
6. Have one teaspoon of amla powder in a glass of water.
