Are you gearing up for new year’s resolution?
December seems to be the most challenging month to improve on weight loss and health for most people. There are so many distractions and disruptions to our normal schedules; the cold weather and snow may take away some of our favorite outdoor activities and there seems to be no shortage of cookies, cakes, cups of cocoa, and calories at hand.
For as much as January is everyone’s “best” month for dieting; December is the complete opposite. But what if you can change that? What if you can use December to represent all of life’s little challenges that have kept us from hitting our goals so far? In fact, if we can master December, can we not master our entire weight loss journey?
So how do we start?
Eat Home cooked food minimum 6 days a week
Eat Sugar Free & Junk free food on the 7th day as well
Finish your dinner by 7 – 745 PM at the max
Weight training at least 3 -4 days a week
Clock 10000 steps every day, not because it’s a magic number but because it keeps you active through out the day and gives you sense of achievement.
Improve your sleep timings & quality.
Being healthy and being at the right weight is a lifestyle and not a new year resolution to be broken in the first week itself. Think of the small things you can do this month that won’t make you feel like you have even more to make up in January when you start on your New Year’s Resolutions.
